About the Event

Kick off the year by connecting with local LGBTQIA+ professionals and business owners at Fruits Parramatta, the PBA’s monthly networking event in Western Sydney.

Our February event marks the first Fruits Parramatta of the year, making it the perfect chance to reconnect after the break, meet new faces, and set the tone for the months ahead. Held at Bar30 Deck, the private and welcoming space at PARKROYAL Parramatta, enjoy drinks and canapés in great company, with happy hour prices running all night.

PBA Members receive complimentary entry and a free drink on arrival, and all guests go in the draw to win fabulous door prizes on the night.

Whether you’re growing your network, building your business, or simply keen to meet others in the community, Fruits Parramatta is a relaxed, inclusive space to start the year feeling connected. Everyone is welcome, and doors open from 5pm, perfect if you’re coming straight from work.

Fruits is proudly presented by the Pride Business Association (PBA).

Since 1996, Fruits (then known as Fruits in Suits) has been a monthly fixture of Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ community. The first Fruits was held at the “Sol Bar” in Taylor Square and has continued to move around Sydney to support all venues that support the LGBTQIA+ community. Fruits Parramatta is held on the first Thursday of every second month and Fruits Sydney is held on the third Thursday of every month.

Everyone is Welcome

The PBA is committed to providing an event that is welcoming and safe for all participants, is free from discrimination and harassment, and where all attendees are treated with dignity and respect.

Attendees are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards other attendees, guest speakers, venue staff and organisers during the event.

The PBA reserves the right to refuse entry or ask any attendee/s to leave the event at any point, and if necessary, PBA members may be subject to disciplinary action as per the Constitution. Attendees are encouraged to report unsatisfactory behaviour to any Board Director or Associate present at the event, or provide feedback to info@pba.org.au.
